ULP HVOS Craft

This is my first attempt at a AFF inspired craft. Of my own design this craft is best suited for the ULP although it was not origionally built for the ULP, but just as a test. It still has to be Unwrapped and textured, which will account for a lot of the detail. Made in 3dsmax8 and is at 2046 (tri) / 1086 (poly). The texture will be 512px Square. This is the basic colour scheme, but things will change depending on wether or not it can fit into a part of the AFF. If it isnt i will take the texture to new levels of funky sci-fi detail. [ DESCRIPTION ]

This small unmanned surveillance drone is extremely fast and has been created for Atmospheric entry and exit to get data from the planets surface itself. This craft has 3 generators to push the craft at immense speeds and although it has next to no armour or shielding, its speed and fast manoeuvres ensure its tactical information returns. Although small, its weapons can attack critical points in defences and allow larger ships to take advantage of weaknesses. Although fast and very manoeuvrable it has a slow acceleration rate and with all the mass for such a small craft also has trouble decelerating quickly. The weapons have been cut down to include more generators and increase the overall speed beyond anything else. The three generators also mean that this craft can be expensive to build and it quite often is not as stable as other drones. To lighten the amount of mass the frame is not as strong as it should be and stress in acceleration, deceleration and high speed turning can occasionally cause the craft to destabilise, explode or be pulled apart.
